How StayVisible works
A free Canadian directory: paste a link to publish, browse photos in the Gallery, rank businesses by likes, or claim an existing listing.
1. Get a free listing
- Paste your website, Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, Etsy or Shopify link.
- AI drafts your name, category, city, description, promo text and image. You review it.
- Confirm with a 6-digit email code — no password.
- Your public page goes live in the directory with a contact form for leads.
How the Gallery works
The Visual Gallery is a public photo feed — like a discovery wall for Canadian businesses. Anyone can browse without logging in.
- Each business can show up to 5 photos.
- Tap a photo to open a large view with similar photos beside it.
- 👍 Like / 👎 Dislike / Share. Likes power Top-100 — not Google stars.
- Filter by province, city and category.
Where photos come from
Photos on StayVisible are already public:
- Google profile photos — public photos from Google Places / Google Business Profile. We show them with Google attribution. We do not download and keep Google’s original files; they are requested from Google when you view them.
- Owner promo images — pictures you upload when you publish or edit your listing. Those live on our CDN with your permission.

How ranking works
Top-100 ranks businesses by StayVisible Gallery likes — independent from Google ratings.
- This week / this month / all time — switch the period on Top-100.
- Google ★ still appears on cards as extra context. It does not decide rank.
- Claiming a listing keeps the same page, likes and rank. Nothing resets.
What “Claim this business” means
Some listings are imported from public Google data and marked Unclaimed. They already have a StayVisible page. Claim means: “This is my business — let me manage it.” You do not create a second listing.
How to claim
- Open the unclaimed card in the Directory (or tap Claim on the listing).
- Log in with your email + 6-digit code.
- If your email domain matches the business website (for example you@yourshop.ca), the claim can be approved automatically.
- Otherwise we review your request (usually 1–2 business days). You stay as the owner of the same URL, photos, likes and stats.
- After approval, edit promo text, images and leads from your Dashboard.
Only an authorized representative should claim. False claims can be removed. Questions: hello@stayvisible.ca.
